The glue sits under the material, not on top of it, so it cannot be cleaned or polished away. Every pair in this batch has it, and there is no warranty left on them, which is why the price is what it is. Some pairs are worse than others, so order on the assumption that yours will be one of the more visible ones.
The heel height varies per size from 12cm on size 38 to 14cm in size 46.
