A platform sole reduces the arch of the heel, which is the actual height at which your foot bends at. A 16cm heel with a 4cm platform has an arch of only 12cm, making it significantly more comfortable than a 16cm heel without a platform. That is the practical reason platform heels exist.
Our platform collection runs from subtle 1cm soles to extreme 5cm platforms, in styles ranging from classic knee boots to thigh highs, lace-up designs and stretch boots. Materials include genuine Italian nappa leather by Sanctum Shoes, synthetic leather by Giaro and platform styles by Pleaser with both thick and thin heels. Available in sizes 34 to 47, with most models running from 37 to 46.
